First Years

Kornelia - Mielkutė -"And that I'm lying cause I love it and you're looking at me."  – 18:53, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Kornelia was perfectly ready to speak entirely in Polish for the entire of the lesson, she wasn't intending on letting on that she could speak Russian. It would be a funny beginning of term prank, she's heard from the student that did the tour that this professor was off his rocker anyway, so maybe he would find it funny too.

Brook - Mielkutė - Ameriko • The One Heroine -"A hero is somebody who voluntarily walks into the unknown."  – 18:53, May 23, 2014 (UTC) With a cheerful wave and a hello, Brook slipped almost eagerly into her seat, to her learning a new language was almost an adventure. Should she speak English, or Estonian? The professor would probably speak both so she decides on the latter. Sitting next to the other Kute she'd met on the train she got everything ready.

Alicia - Boyanova - Second Year - The Silent One -"Autumn wins you best by this its mute appeal to sympathy for its decay."  – 18:53, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Because she couldn't speak, she waved quietly at the Professor and took a seat at the back, hoping that her inability to speak would deter the Professor from calling on her, otherwise things could get awkward, fast.

Ebba 'Véfreyja' Nieminen Boyanova -Second Year - The Junior Allies  – 19:22, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Véfreyja sat next to her fellow Boyanova, waving to Brook. "hi, ...Alicia, is it?"

Professor Astrauckas - Mielkutė -Head of House - Languages Professor  – 19:22, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Az entered slight later than his students. "Velkommen, sınıf, to Russian class. First of all - alphabet. What do you know? When you know enough of the language, the class will be taught entirely in Russian, so get learning or you're going to fail." He didn't seem to care if they failed, but this was obviously not the case.

Lila Grey Mielkutė 1st year -"I can't speak, but don't think of me as stupid." She wrote, and grinned, " I don't need one!"

Second Years

Franciska - Vorobyov - "French-Canadian" -"The world is not ready for some people when they show up, but that shouldn't stop anyone."  – 19:00, May 23, 2014 (UTC) With the smallest of waves she goes to the furthest corner, her shy side showing, also she's still scared of herself and what she might do to people. She prefers to be given a wide berth, so it's nice.

Professor Astrauckas - Mielkutė -Head of House - Languages Professor  – 19:26, May 23, 2014 (UTC) "Доброе утро, Lôrincz. Мы будем просто ждать остальной части вашей летней группы, которые, по-видимому очень плохо самоорганизации, чтобы добраться до класса вовремя." OOC: Good Morning, Lôrincz. We'll just wait for the rest of your year group, which are apparently very bad at organising themselves to get to class on time.

Third Years

Nie Engel - Kask Fourth Year -"Single? Taken? Who cares? I'm awesome." Message Me  - 19:09, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Deliberately wearing high heels and a dress as usual, she sat in the seat she'd occupied since first year. Taking her bag out she selected the quill that went best with the dress, waiting. She would thrum her nails on the table like she does out of boredom, but she's just had a manicure, so that's not a wonderful idea.

Carmen Dragutinović - Mielkutė Fourth Year -Hexteria Girls - Quarter-Veela  – 19:41, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Carmen entered, taking the seat next to Nie before some twit who was desperate to join their clique took it. "Доброе утро, профессор!"

Professor Astrauckas - Mielkutė -Head of House - Languages Professor  – 19:41, May 23, 2014 (UTC) He stroked his dyed-green rabbit. "Я надеюсь, что вы были раздражает ваши матери, говоря по-русски в период каникул, девочек?" OOC: I hope you've been annoying your mothers by speaking in Russian over the holidays, girls?

 

Bénédicte Lécuyer Boyanova 3rd Year -"Love shouldn't be forced upon....unless I hate you, then every bad thing can happen to you."  – 15:19, May 24, 2014 (UTC) Bénédicte came in the room, flipping back her hair. "Mère knows Russian perfectly well, Professor." She walked over to Nie and Carmen, sitting down next to them.

Anara Aitmukhambetova • Nikelkaj • Year Four -"I know I sound a little twisted." Anara walks in handing Bart the wooding toy she had taken from him last class, and of course laughing about it.

Bart Radic • Kask • Year Four -"Now is your time and you know where you stand." "Stop taking my stuff." He growled at her quietly wanting no one else to hear it.

Fourth Years

Emelia - fifth year vorobyov • rocking it cliqueless -"The first recipe for happiness is: avoid too lengthy meditation on the past."  – 19:17, May 23, 2014 (UTC) "Konnichiwa, Professor." She would smile reluctantly at him, before, like it was mandatory to say something awful after what he did, added "You were sane at the meeting. Did you have Flying Mint Bunny telling you what to say?" before going off to her seat.

Apollinariya Kuznetsov - Vorobyov Fifth Year -"Let's go for it, just for tonight! C'mon, c'mon, c'mon..." Message Me  - 19:17, May 23, 2014 (UTC) "Privet, Professor." She'd apparently just arrived from the rink, because she was still carrying her ice skates. "Am I late? Eteri had us in early this morning."

Sorin Lupescu - Boyanova 5th Year, Prefect -"Live. Laugh. Love."  – {{{1}}} With a wave he appears at the door, seeing him engaged in conversation he proceeds to his seat.

Shannon Kentwell - Mielkutė Fifth Year -"The one you love tolerates your omigod totally moments." Message Me  - 19:17, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Brenna's newest letter fresh in her head she seems abnormally pale. She follows suit, and with a smile at Kat's boyfriend sits in an empty space.

Today we will be learning about how Russians address one another - you might have already picked some of these up in previous lessons. Can anyone elaborate?

Lavinia - Mielkutė • Prefect -"I'll run away with your footsteps, I'll build a city that dreams for two."  – 19:29, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Lavinia would smile at the Professor. "Vsegda byt' samim soboy, yesli vy ne mozhete byt' tomatnyy."

Alassëa - Nikelkaj -"I am incredible - highly flammable - so girl get out my face!"  – 19:29, May 23, 2014 (UTC) She would quietly slide into her seat while the weird Kute was talking about tomatoes.

Maryla Dzięcioł - Nikelkaj -Fifth Year - Co-Leader of the Millionaires - Descendant of Melusine  – 20:36, May 23, 2014 (UTC) She walked in looking bored, and took the seat next to Alassëa.

Alfred Caison - Nikelkaj Alumnus - Krazy Kute - Married -"Solving all of today's problems by talking excessively." Message Me  - 19:35, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Alfred would walk into class with a smile and a "Privet," automatically looking for Eca.

Alexei - Vorobyov - Football, Rugby, Karate + Boxing -"But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?"  – 19:35, May 23, 2014 (UTC) He would do the same as Alfred, apparently having been playing football.

Ecaterina Kogălniceanu Nikelkaj -Seventh Year - Engaged - Head Girl  – 20:56, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Eca entered, smiled at Alfe, sat down next to him and didn't even attempt Russian. "Hi! How's life?"

 

Sieglinde Losnedahl Prefect -Boyanova Seventh Year  – 20:56, May 23, 2014 (UTC) Linde entered, nodding to the Professor, and took her usual seat in the centre of the class, grinning at Eca and Alfe together and mouthing Cute!

Professor Astrauckas - Mielkutė -Head of House - Languages Professor  – 20:56, May 23, 2014 (UTC) "Вы все начать свой Ньют пересмотра в этом году, и, таким образом, происходит не быть индивидуальным пересмотр с этого времени до конца вашей седьмой год. Любые вопросы, просто приходят и спрашивают меня. Я также проверить переводы. Учебники на ваших столах, использовать их, а также практика устной речи. Будьте так громко, как вы хотите, у меня есть затычки для ушей." He conjured the textbooks as he said this, as well as English-Russian dictionaries. OOC: You're all starting your N.E.W.T revision this year, and so there's going to be individual revision from now until the end of your seventh year. Any questions, simply come and ask me. I will also check translations. Textbooks are on your desks, use them, and also practice speaking skills. Be as loud as you wish, I have ear plugs.

Message Me  - 11:01, May 27, 2014 (UTC) Alfred glared playfully at Linde, bursting out in silent laughter, plugging in his headphones he flicks through to a song that is German.  "I'm good." He says out loud. "It's engineered to switch to playing in Russian when professors listen to it~" he types in the notes, lest the professor not have his earplugs in yet. "So, how are you, Eca?"
